Elise Arndt is author of A Mother's Touch and A Mother's Time and has been a Bible teacher, and international conference and retreat speaker for thirty five years. Elise has presented Bible studies at events hosted by "Hearts at Home," LCMS, LWML and numerous non-denominational conferences. Her passion is in encouraging women in their relationship with Jesus Christ, getting women into God’s Word and neighborhood ministry.
Linda Borecki, part-time faculty of music and worship, Concordia University, Portland, Oregon, is a story-teller of liturgy and worship. She invites people in to the lived experiences of people ancient and contemporary desiring to encounter God in worship. With music, art, and liturgy from twenty-one centuries, we explore what happens when God’s Spirit meets the human spirit – encounters of healing and Hope through prayer, symbol, rite, and song.
Deb Burma has spoken for Lutheran Hour Ministries at both national and regional conferences and for the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) as keynote speaker for National Convention, in addition to, several district conventions. She has led workshops and sectionals for Best Practices for Ministry (BPM) Conferences, Concordia University System’s Beautiful Feet Conference, the Nebraska District LEA Conference, and WLI’s National Conferences.
Sharla Fritz has been described as an amazing eye-opening speaker and author. Sarah Holtan’s speaking style is lively and interactive. She infuses personal stories and audience feedback to create an accessible and dynamic climate. She presents a theoretical basis or framework for her topics and then walks audience members through the practical application component. Her goals are for each audience member to feel more informed, uplifted, and with at least one “take-way” nugget from her presentation. Karen’s passion is helping people follow God’s call to serve in all areas of their life – home, work, church and in the community — especially when serving is difficult. She also addresses the issues that arise when we serve together as volunteers in the church. In addition to offering practical help, she also digs for the deeper truths, especially the power and freedom offered by Jesus of Nazareth.
Karen Lippert is the Director of Women’s Ministry in Hartland, WI. She began her ministry as a Lutheran School teacher after graduating from Concordia, Chicago. After having her two daughters, God led her to begin a women’s Bible study in 1991, which evolved into a ministry position. She has spoken at numerous conferences, retreats, and events. Her passion is connecting women to God through His Word.
Karen Sue (Hinz) Murdy loves to encourage and equip women in their faith walk with God. In addition to rich experience leading Bible studies for women and couples, she speaks passionately about her Savior at special women’s events as she addresses topics that speak to women’s everyday lives. She has spoken for MOPS, WLI, Best Practices, LWML, women’s retreats and others.
