Leaning & Leading: A Christian Perspective
October 16, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm UTC-4
Leaning & Leading: A Christian Perspective Sunday, Oct. 16
Join us for a TED Talks-style event in which three exceptional Christian women will share leadership strategies based on the Sheryl Sandberg book, "Lean In."
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." (Prov. 3: 5-6) This scripture is more complex and challenging than we often acknowledge. What does it look like to lean on the Lord? Are we willing to lead and step out in faith, knowing that God calls us to make a kingdom impact? WLI invites you to join us for worship and brunch centered on Christian women’s perspectives for leaning and leading in life, work, and play. Three exceptional Christian women will share strategies based on adaptations from "Lean In" by Sheryl Sandberg, highlighting how these strategies can be lived in our daily walk to equip us to walk confidently. Let’s be women who together lean and lead to make an impact in God’s kingdom.
Located at Concordia University Ann Arbor in the North Building, see the conference's full schedule below:
