2017 WLI Pressure Points Workshops
We are excited to share these four dynamic workshops with you at our WLI Pressure Points event! While each speaker brings a different perspective, the underlying question they answer is: How do we, as Christians, navigate and lead in the secular workplace? You do not want to miss any of these workshops, so join us for the entire day!
Bringing your whole self to work can be a rewarding experience when the environment supports individual freedom of expression and respect for individual values. During this workshop, we will discuss and share experiences on how to respond when our spiritual commitment feels challenged by situations or work cultures that do not align with our spiritual values.
Interpersonal conflicts exists around the world in many different situations. Sometimes it can be useful to improve outcomes, it also can leave relationships damaged and irreparably harmed leaving you questioning what you value. In this talk, we will discuss conflict, how it can be used and how to stay true to who you are.
This session will explore the process of discovering and defining your identity, and how to carry that identity into your work confidently and effectively. The work we do shapes our identity to a degree, but it shouldn't fully define it. Getting this right can be the difference between burning out or staying engaged in a meaningful way for the long haul.
