Dr. Tammy Ferry
Dr. Tamara Ferry has invested her career in higher education. She is a “lifelong Lutheran learner” and is passionate about the value of a faith inspired university experience. After working for over 15 years as the Director of Institutional Research and Assessment at Concordia University Wisconsin, Dr. Ferry sums up her main responsibility as “measuring the mission.”
With a Ph.D. in educational psychology, her special interest is in the diverse influences on women’s career identity and development. Tammy also serves on the board for the Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and is currently president of this board. But she is also married to a president…of a university! In her spousal role, Tammy enjoys coordinating, hosting, and attending university events as well as cheering on the athletic teams. She channels her own competitive spirit into running, biking, and swimming participating in occasional triathlons. Tammy and Patrick have five adult children and one grandchild.
