Rebekah Karolus is a Deaconess student at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, and plans to graduate with her MA in 2020. She is also a graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin with a degree in both Theology and Lay Ministry. Following graduation, Rebekah served as the Director of the Sr. High Youth Ministry, College Ministry, Young-Adult Ministry, and Women’s Ministry at St. John’s Lutheran Church in West Bend, Wisconsin for 3 years.
Rebekah finds joy in walking with those whom God places within her ministries through their own joys and struggles. Beyond these big picture ministries, Rebekah is also quite content putting together newsletters, posters, announcements, and working the social media platforms of ministry. She’s always looking for the best ways to present information so people see it and receive it. If you were to look for Rebekah outside of her office, the best place to look is the local coffee shop. She’s probably there chatting it up, or immersed in an enlightening book. She also has a cat, Lamont Cranston, who seems to think he’s in charge of everything.
