In this workshop, author and speaker Sharla Fritz will share what she has learned during a decade of sharing Christ’s love. You will discover how to create promotional materials, find speaking opportunities, and establish fees. You will learn the importance of knowing your audience and knowing the room. Sharla will give suggestions on organizing your speaking business. And most importantly, you will be encouraged to leave the outcome in God’s hands.
Scripture tells us that we were made to be givers – generosity is a spiritual gift from God! This interactive workshop will help you be confident in God’s plan for you to experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from giving of your L.I.F.E – Labor, Influence, Finances and Expertise.

In this session, Bible study author Sharla Fritz will give you the tools necessary to craft a dynamic talk or article based on a Bible passage. You will learn how to prepare for the expedition (research the passage), lead the journey (prepare the article or speech), and return home transformed (apply biblical truths to everyday life).
If you feel the urge to write and are curious about publishing, this is the workshop for you! This discussion will motivate, equip, and encourage you in your calling. Learn about the hows and whats of Christian publishing, explore your options, and take the next step.

Hear stories and gain ideas for confidently and winsomely sharing your faith in the marketplace, no matter what your circumstances or opposition may be. Consider where God might be calling you to step out and to be a light to your clients, colleagues or even industry acquaintances. Walk away with a plan for prayer and movement, at the Holy Spirit's prompting, for making an impact in the professional atmosphere where the Lord has placed you.
Whether our work is in the church or in the world, women of faith want to believe that we're "leading the life that the Lord assigned, to which God has called you" (1 Corinthians 7:17). But how can we be sure? Are vocational symptoms of conflict, challenge, suffering, and apparent fruitlessness sure signs that we've misread His Call? Sharing passages from her own writing and stories from her own life, Heather Choate Davis offers a little hard-won wisdom about how God shapes a life if we let Him.
Sometimes we feel competent and ready to influence others. At other times we wonder how or why to do so. This workshop focuses on specific ways in which to develop competence in the skills of influencing others that lead to enhanced personal confidence. Fortified with this learning, we go forth with strength, joy and peace to serve those around us.
Learn the 3 core elements of executive presence, gravitas, communication and appearance. Which matter most? How do women leaders differ from men? Do Christian leaders have a secret weapon? Not just a technique, but skills that can be practiced and mastered, powerful presence happens when others experience your confidence, competence, commitment and authenticity. Learn the secrets to balancing the tension of conforming to cultural norms and leading in a way that is true to your authentic self.
As Christian leaders we will inevitably face adversity in this world which could derail us from carrying out God’s plan. Finding spiritual peace within our leadership roles will only come from one source and that is God who remains constant and unchanged. We will find the assurance we need through an intimacy with Him which is found only in His word and sacrament. This intimacy will fill us with the Holy Spirit. That spirit will help us to be better role models by creating in us a thankful heart and a desire for generous giving. This is something that will get noticed by others and ultimately help as we work to influence people in a positive way. Modeling a ministry through generosity is one of the best ways to influence others. As Romans 8:28 states “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
“Give thanks in all circumstances…” 1 Thess. 5:18 How can you cultivate an attitude of gratitude in the midst of every circumstance? What kind of influence may your growing gratitude have on the people God is placing in your path? Join us for lively discussion and “gratitude-talk-and-walk” in leadership and in life!
We are God's Masterpieces, created in His image. God has made us His own and our identity is forever in Him. But the devil is the great "identity thief" seeking to steal our true sense of self and replace it with his defeated and fake sense of self, his fake ID. We'll explore and embrace our true identity in Christ, who we REALLY are. All forms of ID accepted!
We are all deployed digital missionaries. We have the opportunity to bring hope and Good news through social media to many who would never connect with Jesus through more traditional ways. This session shows how your presence on social media can have a Kingdom Impact- on Pinterest, Facebook, and Instagram. A blog can tell the story of His faithfulness and your social media use can be shaped by the Gospel to equip others and extend encouragement.
When you think of The Woman of Noble Character, as she is described in Proverbs 31, what attributes come to mind? Yes, she is called as a wife who brings honor to her husband. She is a servant who opens her arms to the needy. Yet honor and servanthood are not mutually exclusive from success in business. In fact, a good deal of this chapter describes the noble woman in her calling while she lives out her vocation in the marketplace. She does not forego her profit or work idly. Instead it says that, with her eager hands, she provides food for her family and earns a profit whereby she can invest. In fact, verse 18 directly says, “her trading is profitable.”
Join Sarah Guldalian, CEO of Rhino Hyde Productions, a full-service Creative Agency, as she discusses how to be this woman of noble character as you negotiate contracts yet continue to operate in the professional world as a Christian.
The Assertive Christian Woman, while respectful of both herself and others, embraces God's design and purpose for her life and fervently wants to be God's ambassador wherever God has stationed her. We'll examine some of the myths around assertiveness, the healthy relationships that can result from assertive behaviors and take a close look at Jesus' blessed example.
Public speaking is considered the greatest fear a person can have, even greater than the fear of death. But there is a Christian imperative for using the gift of speech to faithfully serve our neighbors. God gave us speech as one tool for influence. Basic techniques for controlling apprehension are introduced along with practical tips for enhancing speaking skills.
Do you struggle to recall the truths of a devotion or sermon later in the day? Do you forget who you promised to pray for or does your mind wander during prayer? Are you searching for a new, fresh way to connect with God’s Word? Find out about the visual faith practices of prayer and Bible journaling – processes which connect visual and kinesthetic learning principles during prayer and Bible study, helping you to slow down and pay attention, deal with distractions, and allow the Spirit time to speak to your heart as you read, reflect, and respond to God’s Text Message.
Leading volunteers is a wonderful and difficult responsibility. We often focus the bulk of our energy on getting people to accomplish tasks and measuring outcomes. Participants will be equipped to improve the care of their volunteers through intentional planning and connection.

If you are a millennial or working with one, please join us for this interactive 45-minute session where you will gain valuable perspective on generational differences as well as some practical tools that you can use right now within your various vocations.
