WLI Student Spotlight: Serving Internationally

Allow us to introduce Grace Sugg. Grace has spent the last two years being one of WLI’s student workers. She served us well in a number of different capacities. If you received a hand written thank you card, most likely it was her penning our gratitudes to you. “After writing those thank you notes, it leaves me with such a heart of gratitude for everything in my life and all the God has given me”. She worked closely with Darcy Paape and Katherine Pietrantonio before her graduation.

In May 2024, she graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) with her Director of Church Ministries (DCM); theology major with a minor in church ministries and non-profit management. During her time at CUW she became acquainted with WLI through her ties as a Faith Associate on the Campus Ministry Leadership Team. When she interviewed previous directors of WLI, it helped prepare her for her missionary work and encouraged her faith journey. She commented that “talking with all those different women and hearing their faith walks, how they trust in God, and put him at the forefront of everything in their life was very impactful on my faith.”

In her next phase of life, she will be serving in Montreal, QC. Grace will be serving in a neighborhood teeming with 33,000 immigrants sharing the news of Jesus with them!

WLI has been blessed to have Grace on our team and we look forward to seeing her work to serve the Lord through Mission of Christ Network.
